Story Boards

The My Knee Guide "Stories" section provides an area for users to read and describe their own experiences and leave comments to other users. These stories and comments are visible to all users of My Knee Guide. However, in order to add a story or comment the user must be a registered user. When a user submits a story or comment, this submission is subject to review by My Knee Guide prior to publication. This review process will ensure that the submission is appropriately related to knee arthritis and/or knee replacement experiences.

My Knee Guide requests certain guidelines be followed for these submissions. Users should provide source information for the health/medical information discussed when it is not personal experience or general knowledge. Personal experience is any symptom, test, treatment etc. that the person or a close family member has undergone himself/herself. All statements about statistics, data, studies and new advancement in medicine should have trustworthy sources.

If the submission has been accepted, it will be published on the My Knee Guide website, iPhone app and potentially other social media outlets. The user does not have the ability to edit or delete the submission after publication. A request to edit or remove the publication can be made via e-mail provided in the "contact us" link. My Knee Guide will have no liability related to the content of any such publications, whether or not arising under the laws of copyright, libel, privacy, obscenity, or otherwise, and retains the right to refuse publication or remove messages that include any material deemed abusive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise unacceptable.
