Hi. A little background info. I had a tibial Osteotomy 10 years ago. I successfully recovered and continued to run marathons for the next 10 years. My osteotomy finally came to an end and I received a partial knee replacement on 1-29-21. Today it’s been 1 week since my surgery. I am off pain meds, I’m driving, not using any walking aids, and going to the gym for 30 minutes each day. My physical therapist and surgeon support my plan of recovery. My goal is to run a marathon in the fall. My short term goal was to be running by May 1st. But my therapist said I am doing great and if I keep up the hard work, I will be running sooner.
